We had a visitor at Chickadee Farm recently. She - and I presume "she" is a she due to her relatively small size - sauntered across our yard on some undefined mission. The barking of our three dogs failed to deter her. She was quite magnificant. Life is always a surprise at Chickadee Farm.

wow...green grass in the summer. Hmmm, how weird. :o) How exciting to see your bear in the daylight, instead of just seeing tracks or poop.
So your little low slung girl is becoming a grown up, is she? Man, if I lived closer...SCOOP! You did it to me with the pictures of those darned puppies! Of course there is little room to walk around here as it IS...

Oh - what a fun backyard visitor! She's a beauty. (As long as you're far away, and she doesn't surprise you at night. At night, she would not be a beauty, but a scarey thing.)Glad that you had your camera ready to snap this!

Wow. Beautiful. But not too close! My folks had one near them recently, right in front of Congressional Country Club where all the WashDC movers and shakers get together to feel important. (Here, can I help you with that golf ball? Chomp.) It sauntered down the main drag and shut down rush hour traffic.
